Don't miss this lokanta if you're in Kadikoy. If you are tired of the 'usual' Turkish cuisine, the regional dishes here will be a refreshing change. We had the thyme salad, zucchini fritter, stuffed artichoke, and lamb eggplant casserole - everything was wonderful.
Good food, but a bit more expensive than the average turkish restaurants.
Cafetaria that is pretty unique. Almost an anthropological experience. Serves daily food from Southeast Turkey. A must-try despite its modest look.
The foods are changing everyday you can taste different type of food from Turkish cuisine .But don't forget that portions are small and prices are overrated
Incredible food! Great prices (compared to beyoglu, it’s so cheap!). Absolutely recommended.
Huge and chaotic and crammed and confusing (okay, it was ramadan around sunset). But oh my god, I've never tasted a kebab with nearly so much flavour. months later I am still in awe. It was a special, but sadly I remember nothing more. (And the menu is epically long, so good luck finding it.)
It lives to its reputation. One of the best Turkish cuisine restaurants. They literally cook whatever available for the season which guarantees fresh dishes and different diversity when you visit at different times of the year. Some staple dishes are always available and you can always order the kebap, köfte and other famous Turkish dishes, and they are all top notch.
Kebap was quite tasty but i personally think the portion could be a bit bigger. I recommend to take also "meze" plate - especially the one with pomegranate. It's good place for groups as well.
I enjoyed turkish meal in Ciya. Very interesting cook. But price was quite expensive as its quility.
Delicious food, also traditional, various kebabs, and great lahmacun with fresh ayran. Our favorite Keşkek served only in the weekend.
Anatolian cusine variety from centuries ago served by an experienced staff
As a licensed tour guide I always choose this restaurant on my tours. It's a great place to show the richness of Turkish cuisine. They call their menu as "Eastern Mediterranean" which is true. The reason for giving 4 stars is the the price. I agree with other reviewers on the price.
The food is delicious and traditional from every part of Turkey. There's a variety of food choices, as well as salads. Service is good and friendly. Price, however, is not as low as similar places. This restaurant serves desserts.
Where you can eat original Anatolian food that has been cooked since ancient times of the history in a lively neighbourhood of Kadıköy..
Great food, but utterly confusing lunchtime setup for a foreigner. I had to talk to 4 people before someone could explain to me how it works, and even then you have no idea how much it will cost. I ended up spending far more than what I would have liked or expected to.
Ciya Sofrasi is traditional Anatolian Turkish food. Taste is good. There are a number of food selection.
Traditional Turkish restaurant. Decent food. Reasonably priced. Can order from the menu or from the food at the bar.
Excellent choice if you want to try out some of the lesser known dishes from around Turkey. I love their salad/meze bar. Also, their prices won't break the bank.
