Beautiful, lovely, cosy (lemon) garden cafe. Great, relaxed, calm, romantic atmosphere close to the extremely crowded Taksim area. It's like a hidden treasure inside a crazy, busy city.

I loved this hidden restaurant suggested by a lady in the nearby book shop. Its hard to locate but when you reach the place, its actually a beautiful lemon garden to have food.

Atmosphere is nice, service is quick. They both have indoor and outdoor space to enjoy your drink/meal. The garden could be cleaner even though it's not disturbing. They also have gas heaters in the garden for winter. Restrooms are small and you may have to wait in a line to get into one.

Prices slightly higher than average but the food was good!
Edit: returned and had a pasta (mushroom parmesan arugula). Unfortunately it was completely flavourless and did not taste like even parmesan. It was just a heap of fettuccine with 6 pieces of mushroom and 4 leaves of arugula on top (all remarkably bland). It made me feel sick. Not something you’d want to pay 30+ TL for when you can get something tasty down the street for 15-20 TL.
Would recommend only ordering Turkish dishes. Lovely green courtyard to relax.response / report this review -

This place has a great atmosphere, you can’t help but feeling good. There are a lot of plants and it just feels like a getaway from an area that’s usually very crowded and busy. The food is delicious and portions are generous. Another thing I love, and it’s totally personal, it’s that there are cats around that look well fed. Service is also very nice.

We sat in the beautiful garden. You can feel good vibes. The food is super. Loved the burgers and salads. It's fresh and delicious. Thumbs up for the cocktails. Excellent service and fair

One of my favourite breakfast/ early morning coffee in the city. This gem is hidden in the basement/backyard of a historic building just 5 minutes by foot from Istiklal Avenue. The prices are resonable for the portions offered. Try their classic "Breakfast for two" and enjoy a morning like no other with welcoming staff and the friendly turtles that roam around the garden.

The ambience is realy good its takes you from the crowd of taksim and brings you in a garden full of lemon trees.But the food is realy overpriced.And they take extra money from the sauces.A good place drink coffer or beer but not to eat.

Not easy to find it. l you should ook for the entrance with attention not to loose it. Inside there's nice garden, very quiet. Tasty simple breakfast. VERY tasty and fresh. Acceptable prices.

Amazing place. Good food, great cocktails! The garden is so nice and cosy. the staff is usually friendly, very international and can be very crowded. if you are very lucky, you can even see the cute turtle walking around.

Not recommended for tourists and foreigners, they bring you stuff you didn't order and charge you for it. That includes bread, olive oil, tap water, napkins! I'll never return to this place or any similar restaurant that treat their customers as walking ATMs!
