Hands down the best "home food" restaurant I've ever been in Istanbul. Big diversity of freshly cooked dishes with the best ingredients. The fact that you get there without knowing what they have on this day is intriguing. Add to it that you can be sure that whatever you try would be excellent is a treat.

Haci Abdullah LokantasiOne of the best restaurants i've ever visited, i went to Haci Abdullah 2 times in one week whole we were in Istanbul and i we will when we visit Istanbul again .. Its a very special place for us we enjoyed a lovely time and tasty food

Haci Abdullah is a very good, traditional Turkish restaurant. It is frequented mostly by locals. It is good quality, up-market restaurant but reasonably priced. Well worth eating at.

I wanted to try authentic Turkish food and this is what I got. Everything was delicious, and when it comes to food I'm not the easiest to please. The service was great too, nice guys. And it's cheap. Eat here! Try the hunkar begendi or any braised lamb dish with fresh sesame bread and a glass of fresh orange juice (no alcohol is served!)
