Historical house rebilded, not so big but confortante. Owner and staff very friendly.
Out of the Istanbul traffic it is in the old town side very closed to the big moschea and historical site. 10 min. Walking.
    Very good price.

Safe, budget friendly hotel in the heart of Istanbul's main tourist attractions district. The property is run impeccably, breakfast is sumptuous and the staff are very attentive to any requests you might have. They helped me with recommendations on local eating out/tourism stuff, booked taxis and airport transfers and even held my luggage after check-out.

Considering what I paid for the room this was great value! Staff members had a helpful attitude. Excellent quick service yet unobtrusive. The full breakfast was great and exactly as elaborate as shown in pics! Perfect location for anyone who wishes to photograph Sultan Ahmed, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. Not suited for wheel chair access due to cobbled streets which are otherwise really quite charming. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

This hotel was an amazingly good deal. If you are coming to Istanbul to sight-see and if you are on a budget, I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are small, but simple and clean -- perfect for travelers who will be out and about. The included breakfast buffet was healthy yet filling and had a variety of fruits, meats, and vegetables.

The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly. They gave us advice on what to do, where to eat, where to shop, and helped us make last-minute reservations multiple times.

Location wise, it is walking distance from Sultanahmet Camii (the Blue Mosque), Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, the Basillica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, etc.-- all must see attractions. If you need to travel anywhere else, you can easily walk or take a taxi. Highly recommend Ayasofya Hotel for travelers on a budget who want good-value accommodations. (My boyfriend and I stayed here during off-season in February 2013).

Great place, awesome atmosphere, and super friendly and helpful staff. The roof top terrace was the best, and where I proposed to my wife. A great memory, and an excellent place to stay.

We stayed at Ayasofya Hotel is was fantastic! The staff were great and the hotel has lots of atmosphere! The terrace at the top is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink and look at the Sea. Breakfast was very healthy, lots of fruit, cereals, borek - delicious!
I recommend this hotel as good value for money and great service.
