  I'm not sure whether they don't know how to treat patients or there was a bad intention. I have been diagnosed for glaucoma 5 years ago. I have described my situation to the famous professor and showed my previous results. He checked them and asked me to take out two tests again which have been already done in another institution only one month ago (I understand this was a policy to make these costly tests again to charge as much as possible). Results were same as previous tests. Professor asked me to continue eye drops and to come again after three months. (I understand now that if an operation is necessary, they call the patient several times before the operation to exploit them as much as possible). Of course I didn't follow his advice, went to another two experts, selected one of them and got an operation. Everything goes fine now.

  If you have alternative do try that. I especially advise state hospitals. It is a private institution and taking every chance to gain capital naturally. I do remember that I took my daughther there for just a simple eye control which cost me a fortune.

  Aman aman coook dikkat edin ve cok uyanik olun ki, böyle sahtekarlarin oyununa kesinlikle gelmeyin arkadaslar! Göz muaynesiydi, yok kontroldü, ameliyatti derken aninda gözlerinizden olursunuz ve hayatiniz bastan asaga maf olur maf! Ben sahsen alt tarafi bir göz muaynesi diyerekten etilerdeki en ünlü doktorlardan bir randevu alim diyerekten gittim. Sorunum gözlerimin neden sürekli agridiginin cevabini bulmal ti, ama buradaki para canlilar beni benim kesinlikle ne uzaktan ne yakindan iznim yada haberim olmadan beni resmen ameliyatta alacaklardi be kontrolleride buna baglantili yapmislar. Hatta muayne gününde sorunuma care bulmadan agrinin sizimin nedenini cevabini vermeden sap diye ameliyat edeceklerdi! Bunlar iste böyle serefsizler! Aman aman gözleriniz gittikten sonra yada kör oldugunuz an hayatiniza kaymasinin yani sira hic bir hak talep edemezsiniz! Sakin böyle dolandirici ve insanlarin sagligini hice sayan malukatlarin oyununa gelmeyin!!! Gözlerle oyun olmaz! Benim bu hastanede yasadigim ve son derece beni sok edici olayi cok tez yakinda doktorlarin adini vererek medyalarda be gazetelerde yayinliyacagim! Bakin görün perde arkadasindaki gercek olaylari!!!cok dikkat edin! Doktorun ünlülûgüne sakin kanmayin. Hepsi insanlarin gôzünü boyamak icin birer taktik ve numara!!!

  I go to Dünyagöz for my regular eye exams. They are thorough. Also, they have English-speaking staff.

  This place is a joke. My experience was very far from satisfying! If you don't want to read the whole story just take this piece of advice: Don't go there. Just don't.
  
  I found that communication/organization-wise, this place is horrific. I was staying in Istanbul last year, and Dünyagöz was recommended to me. I decided to go there for an IOL-surgery. I was rushed through the pre-surgery examinations, which should have made my suspicious. I paid 1000 Euro (3000 TL) as down-payment and the lenses were ordered. I was assured that the lenses would arrive within about 6 weeks.
  
  I went back to Germany after more than 2 months, the lenses had still not arrived. I left them my German contact information - with the German speaking employee and at the front desk. I then called every month and sent many e-mails to see if the lenses had arrived. Mostly, I did not get a reply to my e-mails. When I called them they just said that they would contact me via the contact information that I had left. They mostly just tried to get me off the phone and seemed very annoyed with my frequent calls.
  
  Until September I got the reply that the lenses had not arrived. But they also would always say "no problem", they would inform me if they do arrive.
  
  Then in early September I talked to a different lady who actually made the effort to really check if the lenses had arrived – and she found out that they had arrived in MAY!
  
  She talked to the staff in Etiler and they said that they called my turkish number, although I had told them numerous times not to! I did not know that the lenses had arrived for 4 months! It took a total of 6 months (!!!) for the lenses to arrive! Now they probably do not fit my eyes anymore as almost one year has passed after the initial consultation.
  
  The staff in Dünyagöz Etiler even admitted that they read my e-mails – they just did not have the means to reply (whatever that means…?).
  
  Now, I do not want to have surgery at Etiler anymore, because it seems disorganized and I could not fully trust their word anymore. I would also have to spend even more money to travel to Istanbul again - with unknown outcome. They also said that if the lenses do not fit anymore, they can order new ones. After all this, I find that incredibly shameless. It goes without saying that I would surely have to pay another 1000 Euros to order new lenses. Then the game would start again: They never reply so I have to run after them like I owe them something.
  
  At first they refused to refund me, saying that it was my fault. BUT THEN all of a sudden, they came around and said they would pay the money back.
  
  I waited several weeks for the money to arrive and SURPRISE they changed their mind!! Without letting me know, I had again call countless times to find out what was going on. In my mind that is far from professional!
  
  I would have liked to tell my story to a supervisor, but nobody was willing to name a contact person.
  The organization is just so bad and on top of that staff members change quickly. It is impossible to get a responsible person on the phone.
  
  Disorganized is not exactly a trait you would like for in a place that does eye surgeries. It cost me 1000 Euros and a lot of nerves, so I would absolutely not recommend it.

  I was hearing from my cousin it is a excellent hospital and i will try it to make a eyes operation to my sister, best good lucks
