Impressive Ottoman imperial mosque located in the Beyazıt Square.

Built above the ruins of the Fatih mosque that was destroyed by subsequently earthquakes. The interior of the mosque is patterned after the Hagia Sophia on a smaller scale.
2 min walking from here you can find Istanbul university, and the Grand bazaar.response / report this review -

İstanbul'un görülesi tarihi camilerinden sadece bir başkası! It's one of the best and historical mosques of Istanbul! If you visit here don't forget to stop by at 'Sahaflar(an historical book bazaar)' which it's next to the mosque. 👍☺
