Into day 2 of two weeks. This is possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff are incredibly efficient, friendly and happy to drop everything to help. The place is kept to a clean and presentable standard and so far nothing has been too much trouble for them. The facilities are disabled friendly for anyone who has accessibility concerns. The quality of the food is perfect. They vary the menu and don't expect you to live off chicken nuggets for the duration of your stay. I will provide an update once I leave.

Alaiye hotel is 100 mt away from the magnificent Kleopatra beach, 1 km to Centrum, 2 km from central bus station, 3 km to Alanya's castle, 45 km to Gazipaşa airport and 120 km to Antalya airport. Our hotel has totally 107 rooms and 213 beds where built on a 1700 m2 land.

A lovely hotel which is very clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and can't do enough to make sure that you're getting looked after in the best way possible. The rooms are comfortable , but would benefit from some extra storage space. The hotel is in a great location close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. Alanya is a fantastic resort with lots to offer. There are a few negatives. The internal walls are very thin and it can be very noisy when other guests are slamming the doors. There isn't much choice in the restaurant, and we had a few issues with faulty wiring in our room. Definitely a lovely place to stay though.

I liked our room and the beautiful place of Alanya. But although I did try the mostly Turkish food. I draw the line at Yoghurt soup for breakfast. Lunch and dinner. I was told after we arrived at the hotel they had been down graded to 3+ instead of 4* I will not be back.

Staff very pleasant and courteous maid service every day clean bedding and towels every day Very clean
No kettle in room so bring one
Variety of food but caters more for German cuisine could do with bacon in a morning and enjoyed the plain roast chicken good choice of salad and cheeses and desserts
Tried some food I would never have ordered yoghurt soup being on of them and was quite nice
No entertainment but didn't mind played cards and spoke to people that wanted to met some great people
Would definetly stay again x

This place is clean throughout and the rooms are spacious and bathroom has a very large shower room. Food although was very repetitive but ok. Service was nice and friendly at reception but the waiters on the 6th floor very moody except a couple who we're very friendly. Pool very clean and refreshing. Altogether a pleasant stay but 4* maybe not.

Terrible pool which was unsafe as it slanted at every angle to a point in the middle which was deep.
Location to a lovely beach was 3 minute walk BUT unfortunately across an extremely busy main road with 2 lanes in both directions.
Food was terrible and that was the all inclusive. However the local kebab bar was great.
I highly recommend doing the excursions, we did a pirate boat day with singing and dancing and great food and entertainment, a quad biking day in the mountains and also a jeep excursion which ended up at the most amazing waterslide park which the kids loved!
Rooms okay with air conditioning and large balcony BUT unfortunately overlooking a derelict dump type place.
If adults going here it would be fine but do not take your kids! No slides nothing to do but a crappy table tennis table and the risk of drowning in the pool. Our visit was June 2010.
All in all the country itself was brilliant but do not travel with Thomas Cook.

Fantastic location, staff very cooperative and really good atmosphere. Close to the beach and not far from the harbour 'party' area. Excursions are offered all over. Would definitely recommend as a perfect spot for a family holiday. Thanks.
