  I went to Why Knot at the insistence of my brother. He raves about it. My impression is there are a lot of bargains in a slightly chaotic warehouse. I found a few handy things to buy and I hear the stock changes all the time. Heaps of junk food. I think its a good shop but a long way from where I live. I wouldn't make a special trip there but if in the area I'd stop by again.

  Forget all the sales at the Supermarket, go to the Why Knot Shop in East Tamaki Road. If you're on a budget then this is the place to go. Note you will still need to get all your fresh vegies from your local. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

  Very good place to save money. Very good deals on some products, not all, and some different shopping options we don't find everywhere. The place is usually crowded on weekends

  Always a crowd because there are always bargains galore. It is a bit of a gamble because you never know what is in stock, their products change up very quickly depending on what they receive. However, prices are always extremely cheap and some days you can score really high quality dairy products (Killinchy Gold, Movenpick, NZ Natural, Piako, Lewis Road Creamery to name a few) for a very decent price. Go there for frozen meats, dairy, packaged drinks, snacks, meal ingredients, eggs, confectionery and even random household items. Highly recommended.

  For food it's one of the best places to shop. You find items that didn't sell well in supermarkets but at a very cheap price. It's often crowded so it's best to go early in the morning. they also have a free section near the checkout. Jay you knob

  Great deals on food items in comparison to regular shopping. Do visit early or late as this place is constantly busy - you'll understand why after visiting. Never disappointed from visiting as great value for money why not?

  Great deals, always like a treasure hunt :) Good for dairy, meat, and tinned options; not just another chips n chocolate outlet (though there's plenty of that too!)
