Got my first tattoo here and absolutely love it. After an initial draw up with one artist I wasn't 100% sure of the design so rebooked with TeKanawa whose work I had seen on Instagram and loved. And he did not disappoint incorporating all that I asked and more (a Maori design to remember my mother). It was beyond my expectations. I found the team both professional and understanding and they made me feel right at ease. Would highly recommend.

French guy here. Got my first tattoo there, these guys are amazing.
Clean tools, good music, smiles and nice people everywhere.

Extremely poor communication. Artist said he was going to take 1 week to draw up a design. 3 weeks have passed and still no word from the studio. Thought treatment would be better considering the $50 deposit I had to pay. All in all just extremely unprofessional how things have been dealt with here.

Visiting New Zealand for the Lions tour and really wanted to leave with a tattoo done by a local artist. I couldn't be more happy with what I've received from these guys They listen to you, hand draw a bespoke, unique design and quote. The experience is relaxed and friendly all the way through. My artist, Te Kanawa, seemed very pleased with his work. He should be. It's terrific. Thank you so much.

I went in with tattoos done by other tattooists and Arapeta managed to work-over and add-to, and tied it all nicely together to with a crisp clean look. I havent finished yet and it's a work in progress that I'm watching unfold. Awesome studio great artists.

The best ever. Not happy with first tattoo (partly my fault) and made a complaint. Giselle, Sam and Jordan were amazing - made me feel listened to and came up with an awesome plan to resolve. All fixed now and tattoo amazing. And they didn't charge me!!!!. Otautahi ROCKS and will definitely be going there again.Highly recommend.

Very clean, tidy, awesome staff and amazing tatoos!! I flew from the other side of the world and this is one of the best things I could have done! Thanks to Giselle and Sam for all the previous emails and preparation - they were so helpful all the time! Also the tatoo artist was super professional. I couldn't have been happier! On first stage it was just me doing a tatoo, but after seeing how professionals they were, my friends got tatoos as well.

Highly recommend this place ! They were patient with us ! Everything is very clean ! The staff is friendly and professionnal at the same time ! They tattooed us the same day and they even stayed later to finish our tattoos ! Thanks to Gisele and our tattooman (with the tattoos on his nose and mouth) ! Perfect experience !

I dropped in for a consultation but the staff was very rude and impatient. I was even more shocked when I heard how much they wanna charge me. They wanted to charge me at least three times the industry average. Good thing I walked away.
