Always a tradition whenever we pass through Oamaru. Cheese tasting, coffee (maybe a scone) and buying our favourite cheeses! Even better of we get to see some cheese being made!

The two stars are for the delicious cheese. The woman working behind the counter was the most unfriendly person we dealt with during our NZ trip. We had outstanding service experiences and were fully disappointed here, e.g. we waited to be served /recognized when we came in the store waiting at the counter and she did not mention the high-chair hidden behind the door to the restroom.
Too bad this could be a great spot with the right attitude of the people working there.

Beautiful sample of cheeses to taste, came out with so many cheeses to take home. A lovely girl from France was so lovely and said we are able to send the chocolate to the UK as she has sent home to her family in France.
