Loved it. Great location out of town, so quiet and comfortable, friendly, helpful but professional staff, cleaning staff did an outstanding job, facilities too numerous to use entirely in the 3 days we were there, golf, if you want it, but most of all the very good food available in the Phoenix restaurant, eating well with the person you love, plus very good NZ white wines. Whats not to like?

Lovely Resort set in very pleasant green setting next to a Golf Course. Comfortable clean room, friendly reception staff and good ambience. Tip: ask for a room that doesn't have a joining door to next room; not sound proofed.

Only stayed one night, but the room was well prepared and the resort seemed to have a lot of good options if you were staying for longer.

They offer a decent buffet breakfast for the price. Not the biggest fan of their pancake maker as it is not for the impatient! Could do with some real maple syrup as well

Wonderful resort! My family come here every summer for a few weeks, great place for the kids: heated pools and a playground with a trampoline. And for adults spa, tennis courts and the gym. Lovely resurant and cafe with delicious foods and drinks, all staff is very friendly and polite. Rooms are very clean, tidy and quiet. Overall I would recommend this to anyone as this resort is like no other!

Great place to take the kids, handy to taupo and multiple activities chose by. Rooms a bit tired but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you have young children who make a mess. and that's reflected in the price too. Hot pools are great and the playground is good for the under 5s. Grounds are well kept and the buffet was nice too. Definitely will be going back
