Awesome. Spot. 10/10. Recommend. The chillest ranger dude will greet you happily and make your stay the most chilled out, worry-free holiday. Awesome fishing spots nearby, and another smaller campsite just around the corner. Great spot for diving along a beautiful coast. Just know that you need to take everything with you, there is no general store nearby. Kapai as
Quiet and tranquil with camping right next to the beach available. Awesome place to go camping.
Beautiful campground, found a sand dollar in the surf of the long Port Jackson beach. Drop toilets, tap water that is not fit for immediate consumption, and campfire pits are the amenities. There is recycling available on site and a large rubbish bin on the road to the Fletcher Bay campground. Don't let the long gravel road scare you, but be wary of the large summer crowds.
Awesome location. If you like remoteness that's the right spot. Although there's full 4G reception. Gets busy in summer. Nice walks around the heads and towards poet Charles.
Isolated nature camping some rough seal road I love this bay some times a bit busy in December early January but some times there is no one [PARK-SLEEP]
Great location and great drive. Low price camping and all of the sites are at the most 50m away from sandy toes and beers on the beach.
Totally worth the drive. We saw dolphins swimming right by the beach. Great short treks as well in the area.
Long drive to get here but worth the effort.I love the diving fishing and the muriwai walk track to wharekaitua Pa site definitely be back again peace.
We loved our week at Port Jackson Camping Ground in the Coromandel. The campsite is right on the beach and the facilities are excellent. We loved the walks on the beach and taking the walking tracks close by. Great campsite as a couple, with family or friends!
