Great university, I enjoyed studying there for an English pre-degree course (EPP) but some qualifications are not good.

Especially the professional economics programme is totally a waste of money/ time. Be extra careful if you are aiming at banking industries because this degree is not well recognised.

Some people choose this to be a quick/ super easy access to a Post-graduate degree. You will expect "free" morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and sometimes even dinner in the form of buffet. It looks like a puzzle game for rich people rather than for students who aim at higher research or achievement.

I've sent documents in July, it was officially accepted. Now is December and NOTHING from them!!! I've sent emails etc., but answer was "we've sent documents to faculty and know nothing more". I sent documents to Canterbury Un. in October and received offer through month about. But because of this incompetents from victoria I could not have time to get student visa before beginning of study.
Totally CRAPPY university!

Huge campus, with gym facilities and good variety of restaurants. Atop of Kelburn, you can have a wonderful view of the city.
