Nice more relaxed alternative yum char place compared to some other places. Food decent .
it was average, it is very confusing as the witness are very pushy on what we should be eating and the trolley doesn't stop at every table, there is no uniform as well. so I don't know who to make order and what is a customer. But it is cheaper than other Yum Chi place.
Good and great quality food
Typical Chinese dim sum and good for yum Chai.
Food is okay, but staff will force you to get their food without asking. Wouldn't recommend people to go there.there is a lot of good yum cha place with cheaper price and better services
Food is okay, usually available seat, lot of chinese hang around
food is ok, but service form one of the old lady waitress is terrible
Ok good, ok service reasonable price
Was very average, can do much better in area. Perhaps it was cultural differences but would not go there for anything more than a very casual group dinner.
The restaurant has changed name and owners – basically a new restaurant – earlier in 2013. It's now called the Seafood King Chinese Restaurant. The owner is also a big supplier of crayfish and other seafood to many other Chinese restaurants in the city, and he said that they were all fresh every morning (and they looked it). Whereas the old restaurant may have slipped in quality, the new one is so much better.
At Sunday lunch the large restaurant (seats 250, quite a surprise) was bustling, with a mainly (but not 100%) Asian clientele. It was very clean and fresh, with pristine tablecloths, and even the chairs were shiny. There is a window into the kitchen which looked clean and busy.
When I and some friends had Yum Char at Monday lunch, the dishes were delicious and very authentic Cantonese. We could easily have been in Hong Kong.
The waiting staff struggled a bit with English, but that was the only negative in an otherwise great dining experience.
