Not a fan of this hotel, yes it's somewhat convenient, that's about it though. The ability to open a window would be amazing.

These apartments are getting basic stuff wrong.
1) TV is useless, does not work with remote control (nor any of the 2 replacements I was given)
2) Shower leaks water into the bathroom
3) Staff allowed people (in my neighbouring room) to treat the place like a nightclub
4) Room has zero ventilation. Bath extraction fan not working, kitchenette extraction fan not working. Room got smelly
5) Sleeping in the room (or trying) is like sleeping in a night club. There are so many glowing lights etc from the television, air con, microwave, light under the door, through curtain.

Poor experience for my family too. My daughter-in-law booked online, was sent an email for confirmation whereby she followed through with the process againbut on arrival discovered that two rooms had been booked. They had to pay for both roomsso no consideration taken into account over misleading info/computer-error. These guys are rip-off merchants. My son informs me the Hotel is poor quality, nothing like what is advertised :(
When discussing our issue with the Manager, there was no sympathy or consideration taken into account. Seems, they need to fleece whoever they can to make up for the lack of bookings they can make legitimately.response / report this review -

A great room in a fantastic location. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was well decorated and made good use of the odd layout. The studio kitchen with all appliances appliances and dishware was a great touch to add, and everything was fantastically clean. The bed was comfortable, although the blackout curtains left some gaps that repositioning the mounting hardware could fix. My safe didn't have batteries when I first arrived and someone was up your service it within minutes after a call to the front desk. The bathroom was really well done and felt brand new. The front desk staff were very courteous, check in and check out were a breeze. They let me leave my bags in their storage room while I did some sight seeing before my flight out of auckland as well.

A great little boutique hotel. Has its own secluded vibe, which is great if you want to escape the business of Queens St Auckland. The restaurant Latitude 36 has a fantastic menu and beverage range.

Well situated, even walking to the bottom of Queen Street is doable, so all the attractions in the CBD are walkable. Staff are polite and helpful and the rooms are fairly nice and modern.
