Insanely good gourmet eats. I was pleasantly surprised how well crafted and delicious my food was when it arrived. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a breakfast or lunch outing.

Went here last night and the food was incredible and the service top notch. They were even helpful to my husband's special diary free requests. Best meal and dining experience I've had in a very long time. Well done team. You should be all very proud.

    Very pleasant staff-always.
The menu is varied and the food delicious.
Have NEVER had a less than 5 star experience over many years of going there. Could not recommend more highly.
We always book as it is VERY popular.

Had a brunch, fresh orange juice, bacon and eggs on toast, the best I've ever had ,wholegrain toast, free range eggs and the bacon with a sweet sauce twist. yam. The interior design is really attractive. Friendly staff.

Went for brunch. Meals were very good. Tropical fruit smoothie was delicious. Went with kids but I would say the decor was quite formal and didn't make me feel relaxed.

The food was amazing and prompt. The service was friendly and efficient. This place had a calm and comfortable vibe about it and was a lovely warm escape from the cold. I would definitely take my family there again.

Great food great ambience great service. Expensive, but the plating was creative and the portions were generous. Had the lamb loins (would have preferred chops for their fat and stronger flavors), and they were tender and accompanied by a nice medley of fresh vegetables and mash. My companions had the pork (very tender) served with crackling and fresh vegetables and mash, the seared scallops (could be sweeter but I think they weren't in season) done just right, and beef nachos (a simple dish comprising mainly mince and chips and cream but with lots of great flavors), which was supposed to be a little person's meal but the serving was huge. The lemon meringue cheese cake was excellent. The Hills apple cider was very good.

    FOOD
—Good food; might be considered pricey.
—If you want the chowder, get there before 2 p.m. as it might be gone by then.

    SERVICE
—The hostess was not friendly; very dismissive.
—The waitress was very nice and offered some insight on what to order.
—When I went to cash out, I realized that I’d forgotten my wallet at the hotel, the cashier recommended that I add my bill to my hotel, the Silver Fern. Very convenient.

    LOCATION
—The location is easy to get to especially if you are in a car. If you are walking, it could be a good leisure walk; definitely easy to find.

Food is amazingly good. The scotch fillet was cooked to perfection, and the salad with it does surprise me, so fresh, crispy. To note, be prepared, it is pricey to dine in. $$$$
