You would have gotten better service in Soviet Russia.
Ordered fish of day and chips. Paid $8.50
20 minutes later, they called my number, got a piece of fish.
Showed the girl the receipt, she said "another 10 minutes"
They called the number again, got the scoop, I said thanks- no apology, no thanks, nothing. Silence. Very weird.
How dare you be a customer!! Some kind of strange guilt trip going on.
This is becoming the new Soviet NZ service standard.
We are one or two steps away from food rationing.
Drove down the road, fish cold, no salt on chips.
There is a better place 1km down the road North, on the right ;)

The food wasn't incredible, but the staff were awesome. They were all young, but super friendly and professional.
They accidentally over cooked my husbands fish, but picked up on it immediately and came out to us with more fish in no time.
You can also take the food into a number of the surrounding bars. And of course, you can't beat the view!

Smoked king fish was something special, gamey and moist with the Jamaican jerk adding some complexity and spice without overpowering the fish. We also had battered Talbot which was fresh and delicate with great subtle flavors the batter was crispy without being greasy.
