  A simple cafe which produces excellent coffee and breakfast. The pancakes were light and fluffy with lots of banana, walnuts and caramel sauce.
  The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon rashes were just right. Egg yolks were thick and deep yellow - fresh and grass fed.
  We would go back just for the pancakes. Black coffee was served with hot water on the side without asking.
  The Roost provided the best breakfast we have had in 12 days in NZ.

  Food average. Definitely no service with a smile in this establishment. Coffee bad. Hopefully this was just a one off.

  Great selection of food, including gluten free. And the owner gives a little bow before leaving after he has served your meal!

  Excellent Cafe. Yummy food. Coffee sometimes only warm. Need to heat up a bit as need hot in winter mornings otherwise very pleasant.

  Amazing food. Pulled pork slider was incredible. Fantastic vibe as well, we went Saturday lunch and they had a live duo playing. Will definitely return.
