This was a very comfortable place in a great location. Staff were friendly and all of the facilities were clean. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, however, is everything you need it to be. It is only 10 minutes (or less) walk to the blue penguin colony and you can even see some penguins on the way back from the formal show.

Really nice facilities, friendly staff, fair price. Plenty of hot water! Beautiful NZ sunrise can be seen across the harbour. Great location.

This small camper park is very clean and has complete facilities. Unlike the previous camper park that we went at Lake Tekapo, the kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, cutlery etc. The bathroom is also very clean without any time limitation.
The owner also has her small cafe just next to the reception area, just in case you feel too lazy to cook.
The price is affordable and worth the money.
Oh yes, we even spotted a blue penguin in this premise, taking a stroll late in the afternoon

It is a great location very friendly staff and handy too the city and supermarket. And let's not forget it is steampunk weekend which the venue is 2 minute walk from the park.

Great stay. Facilities clean and tidy - was good to have two kitchens. Staff friendly and helpful. Very handy to the harbour, children's playground and pub/shops.

Basic but the facilities were clean and the location can't really be beat. Kitchen definitely could have been a bit bigger. Seeing penguins walking through the park at night is pretty interesting.

On of my favourite place in New Zealand. Took a day and a night to explore the place. Full of historically preserved buildings and local culture. Let;s not forget, there are lots of penguins running around the street nearby.

Nice little campsite, fair price for the location directly at the harbor, if you are lucky you'll see penguins at the campground. All clean and good equipped kitchen
