Reasonable curry. Very mild and bland ( I ordered medium hot) . Host sat us down and then we were promptly forgotten- other diners coming in and having orders taken by the waiter, who appeared to have not noticed us! My husband ordered an Indian hot tikka masala which was very oily and had chillies added to heat it up. Very overrated curry house. I don't think we will be going back there.

If you want to wait 1 hour and ten minutes for two dishes that were burnt, over cooked and tasteless, this is the place to go! It is advertised as a take away diner, but after my husband placed our order he waited for over an hour - on requesting his money back, he was told that it was "on the stove" - quite obviously his order was forgotten and then cooked in five minutes, resulting in burnt food. Absolutely disgusting.

Turned up without a reservation and it wasn't a problem. Meal served quickly and efficiently and was absolutely delicious. Price was very reasonable.

Very good value lunch platter with great vegetarian options. Would highly recommend the paratha bread which is the size of a large pizza and is only 7 dollars. Definitely enough for lunch on its own.

Food is good and comes out fast. Can be a bit crowded at times, but that's only a testament to it's popularity. Service is great too

The amazing smell meets you before you even get in the door. Best Indian good in NZ!and that is from a UK curry lover. Great service as well. We go back every time we visit Nelson.The Richmond restaurant made us wait 50 mins for a takeaway. .very understaffed. disapointing.

Definitely edible but nothing to write home about. Food was way too oily and buttery to feel decent. Grilled mushrooms in yogurt sauce were the highlight. Don't expect authentic flavors but a rather toned down spiciness for western pallet.

The best Indian food in NZ. Every time we go back it just gets better. The food is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
