Best fish restaurant on the south Island, incredible selection and great wine menu. Friendly staff and exquisite location. Go for drinks at sunset with some mussles.

Excellent prompt service with a smile. We were served water without asking. Which is always great. Exceptional waitress. Fast turnaround by the two chefs. Good presentation of food. Good variety to chose from. Nice selection of local non alcoholic beverages. Liked the ginger beer bottled in Motueka. Excellent choices of wines. Top place. Highly recommended.

Food is simply delicious! Prompt, attentive service. Coped very well with a group of 8 grey-haired noisy diners.

Great restaurant! While it's a pity that they cut back on the seafood, our fish, mussels, and cockles were amazingly prepared. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. The price is a tad on the higher end, but you pay for the quality. Do take your time and come here for lunch or dinner.

Take "Trust the Chef" turned up on spec had to book for 11/2 hours a head - killed the time in Nelson town centre - what we got was the most amazing meal we've had for ages - a close second to Daniels in New York. Congrats guys and girls

Delicious pan-roasted groper/grouper. Fantastic, friendly and helpful service from a waitress from Cornwall whose name I didn't catch. Also the sourdough with Neudorf olive oil was so delicious that we went and picked up some of the oil on our trip to the surrounding vineyards the next day.

Fabulous food at a reasonable price. Gorgeous views to be had on the deck, which is situated right over the water. Make sure to bring sunnies on a fine day.

I arrived when the kitchen was actually already closed, but the staff offered me to stay and see what is still running. I enjoyed the chefs platter and a glass of white wine - everything was very good and the view over the bay is just beyond words. You're practically sitting right in the ocean, it's just wonderful! Nice staff, amazing food, magnificent view! Must go in Nelson!
