Had fried rice and sweet and sour pork.it was not good enough and elderly lady provide tea without asking and charged to us. And she said cash only because no eftpos machine. There was no sign about that. Around 2 years ago, this restaurant was good but now

Never EVER eat here!!!
Unless that is if you like food poisoning.

The cabbage and broccoli and cauliflower, most likely came from local scrap bins before they went to the pigs.

Not sure what's with the low ratings but all the dishes we tried were fantastic. And this is coming from a Chinese family who has been eating those menu food for the past 3 decades.

Friend noodles - fantastic.
Cabbage with chicken - very flavourful.
Fish - more of a fusion of Asian and western culinary. Tasty.
And many more. I love it.

Honestly the worst Chinese food i've ever had. Not inedible but totally devoid of any half decent flavours. I gave it 2 stars rather than one because i enjoyed the following: the surly older Chinese gentleman serving us, the strange painting on the wall, the lack of any proper lighting in the room instead relying on slivers of natural light through dirty windows and the presence of a tv with vcr still attached in the main dining area. If those things dont sound interesting to you, probably don't go here as the food is pretty bad.

Yip everyone was right heaps of cabbage also got Swt And sour pork which came with broccoli and cabbage bit weird and unnecessary short changed me also I guess that why the place was so quiet

It was ok, the food was fresh. The food menu and taste can't compare to the others in Auckland area, as it has been changed to suit the local residents.
