Very horrible aggressive couple who reacted over the top when I asked the male owner why the didnt sell pots of tea. White angry yelling face leaning over counter into my face. Woman hoped I would break a leg. They both need help and should definitelty not be mixing with the public. No people skills and a disturbed couple. Avoid this place.

Greeted nicely until taking our money then proceeded to be judgemental with his unasked for opinion and was extremely rude, not only to my husband and I but to our 3 children also. Keep clear guys not nice people and it soured my day. I surprised my family with this trip to NZ and he has NO idea what our situation is and should keep his opinions to himself

Worst cafe I've ever been to. Cold, unfriendly atmosphere and terrible customer service. A guy in front of us ordered a coffee, he took it but came back because he wanted sugar, so he asked and the woman serving him was extremely rude and aggressive, and as they were walking out, she yelled 'I have to deal with dumb f**ks like you!' and the other woman serving just looked so awkward and upset. I would give it no stars if I could. NEVER go here.

Would give 0 stars if possible
Male attendant was aggressive and rude when we tried to send back a toasted sandwich (which cost $6.50!?) explaining he had made the wrong order as this had ham in it and I am a vegetarian. he insisted this is what I ordered and it's "not his fault we didn't listen when he read the order back"
Rude, unfriendly and unpleasant.

Came here with my family. No one in NZ was so rude to me before. I really wanted to leave but my family was hungry so we stayed. I can't get over about how rude this women was. Incredibly unfriendly. I'll never come back here again. The Burgers we had were average. There was a hair on top of one of them but we were to afraid to return it . Fish and chips rather bad. Gelato was alright.
Actually walked in because of the massive sign saying "pies". They didn't have a single pie.response / report this review -

Stay away if you value your ears and dignity.
The operators of this establishment are very rude, beyond that even.
Asked for Moccachino with Cinnamon, by god did I wish I had gone next door.
Child on my bus I was driving asked for a half scoop and was told to get out and to tell her parents they are cheapskates, because they don't do half scoops.
When I approached the owner/operators about the rudeness they had shown my customers I was fair abused.

In March this year my husband and I called in for a big breakfast which we had had before finding it more than enough for the both of us. So this time we decided to order one meal and share it. The meal was not nearly as big as the previous one, or as tasty. What left us with a sour taste in our mouths was when the owner (man) bought us the jug of hot water we requested, he looked at the plate, looked at us with a smirk and said "cheapskates" in a really rude way. We vowed NEVER TO GO BACK THERE AND TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT THE SERVICE OR LACK OF.
We were not surprised to read on FB that another couple had an experience with the owners rudeness and caught it on video.
