Very cosy, old pub style with a open fire and big seating booths. The menu options are spaghetti (no other pasta options) or pizza. Serving sizes are very large. Ordered the garlic bread to start which came out as a whole bread loaf with thick dough goodness inside and garlic paste. For main we shared the seafood pasta which was creamy with mixed seafood. Staff were very friendly and attentive always making sure we had water and were happy with everything.

Beautiful cozy shack, a must-do on every trip to Queenstown. Authentic pizza and pizza with beverages when you want them. The staff are great, but the shack feels cozy and warm (when you can get a seat, we came on rugby night) Also, very centrally located. (The Cow is actually the centre of Queenstown)

I think The Cow has gone down hill sick I first came here on 1980. The staff seem overworked and the service has suffered as a result. It's OK to be told that the wait will be 45 minutes if that is what it is. But not if it is going to be over an hour. And the it is fair to expect your order to be taken pretty quickly. Work is required to get this place back to its best. Food was good, as always.

Music, food and atmosphere!! This place is 5 star for them all. You can't book and might have to wait 30mins but it's worth the wait!

Small hole in the wall type restaurant. Blink and you will miss it. Was fantastic. We missed the dinner rush, so it was cozy. Pizza was to die for.

Awesome pizzas and pastas, this place used to be a milking station, restaurant renovated from a stable great place to have a eal or drink. Outdoor seating available and can see gondola from there.

Had to wait a few minutes for a table but boy was it worth it. The pizzas are huge (we shared one between two of us). We still ended up taking a couple of slices home. Very tasty food. Would happily go back for more if I'm ever in Queenstown again. Had a good chat with the guy on the bar too, he did a great job.

Very personal, small restaurant with a lot of character. They've got some great spaghetti and some darn good pizza. Good wine selection available and friendly staff. The atmosphere they set is awesome, from the fireplace to the copper pot collection and the brickwork. Sit down, enjoy a glass of wine, and a heaping bowl of pasta!
