There’s a lot to see here. Even on a rainy day everything still looks spectacular! There’s bush walks, beaches, and breathtaking views. Even if you’re just passing by, this place is definitely worth a detour. Just make sure to pack a rain jacket, as it can rain quite heavily.

A great place to visit if you want to see a lot of waterfalls and bush. Wear good shoes that well grip well on wet slippery surface. Most of all, check the MET service for the weather forecast for a nice sunny day. There are a lot of well formed walkways to the destinations of interest and one doesn't need to be very fit to enjoy. Great for families too.

I just loooove The Catlins. Its raw nature, quiet - zen setting If you planning to surf, make sure you have a good suit! :D
