Amazing hostel with great amenities. Has a real summer camp vibe to it. Perfect location for Abel Tasman, within in walking distance of the start of the track.

Unlimited showers, great WiFi, cozy and social atmosphere for both cold and warm weather. Great service, amazing outdoor and indoor kitchen that were very well-equipped. Close to a nice trail.

Hello Gorgeous! You can't always get what you want, but this place got all you need. The beach trail is super close, there is a nice bar with live music and the rooms have a spectacular view. Was just at White Elephant, this place is a million times better.

I arrived a little bit late at the office but that was no problem. The staff was helpful and friendly. Everything was clean. I liked the kitchen. You will find everything that you need. There is also a tv room and a cozy fireplace.
Just the sites for the campervans were very muddy. So were the shoes and the inner site of the campervan.

Good facilities, and quiet in the winter. Close to all activities. However I didn't appreciate being woken up late at night by a loud banging on my camper window demanding to know if I was the one who had left the kitchen in a mess. I wasn't. Sorry, you don't do that.

Rooms are amazing. Big with space for your bags. Lots of toilets and more than one kitchen. Perfect place if you are doing the abel tasman track

We stayed here for two nights and three days. Campsite was brilliant, near the beach and the national park. The stars at night were so bright, the campsite it self was clean and spacious and the showers were good! Would definitely come back

Clean, Spacious, and Full of life.
Chose a mixed shared dorm room of 7 beds, perfectly clean and spacious. Facilities are good and clean. Economic. Has a movie room as well. And has lots of places you can chill out within this backpacker itself. And on a perfect night, you can see lie down on the deck outside your room and watch the milky way.

Heaving with bus loads of young travellers, which is not an issue in itself, but does make it difficult to access kitchen and bathroom facilities. This place could do with more facilities given the number of people it tries to pack in.
That said, our cabin was spotless and comfortable, though they did mess up the booking and gave us a twin, not a double.
The online booking process is confusing, so that may contribute to the issue.

A huge hostel with campsite attached. Comfy beds good showers and a large kitchen. Open fires and close to the beach mean this is a great place to kick back and enjoy a beer in the evening. Close to the national park as well so perfect before or after the great walk. Friendly staff and a very laid back hostel.
