Lovely experience! The camping is very well maintained and very clean. Showers are warm, clean and included in the stay. They have a kitchen with covered as well.as outside seating. It's both convient and cozy, well worth the 18$! They also have charging stations, washing machines and it's possible to buy internet.
Showers can also be used as a stand alone between 12-4pm for a small fee.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in the cabin which was nice and tidy with comfy beds. The toilet and showers were always clean. This is a secure, family friendly place to stay. We cooked in the communal kitchen which was also very good. The owners are very good and happy to help. Will definitely come back again!

I quite liked staying here. I was a bit hesitant due to the reviews talking about rude owners, but that was certainly not the case.They showed us around all the facilities, explained everything and helped me out when I forgot my charger and came back a day later. Yes, they are security conscious and will challenge someone who just walks in but in my opinion that is their job.

The facilities are ok but the staff is very rude and don't have any sense of kindness for their guests. Feels like the army, bad vibes.

Myself my partner and our 5yr old child stayed here in January. Our plan was tui stay for about 2 days. 1st night in a cabin and then if the weather improved 2nd night in the tent. Well 5 nights later we were packing our tent up because our holiday was up!
Turned out to be a standing joke that we were moving in 😀
Awesome team of people there, we liked them all, awesome campers great place great atmosphere.
Would so stay again

A great friendly little camp with very reasonable rates and good hot showers. The owners went out of their way to help create a wonderful Golden Bay experience. Thanks to you both.
