Easy going, heaps of room, can take your dog with you and kitchen clean.

More of a backpackers but to accommodate for people who are unable to find housing reasonably cheap good stuff River right next door basic utilities

Came in when it was already getting dark and left early in the morning while it was still relatively dark, so didn't really get much of chance to look around -- Just needed a bed for the night before heading back home to Auckland.
Helene upon my arrival was exceptionally friendly. Cabin was clean and tidy. Overall Holiday park is clean and well maintained. Hot showers, clean toilets, Kitchen facilities in good nick. Hard to fault it for the price.response / report this review -

Lovely spot by the river. Walk through bush beside river. Old fashioned kiwi camping ground. Clean bathrooms. Large herb garden by kitchen you can use for cooking.

Beautiful park with a lot of well established trees but also plenty of open space if you don't want shade, situated along side the Wanganui River near the locals favourite swimming spot.
You will not find friendlier or more social hosts than Phill & H this is our favourite camping spot.response / report this review
