Pretty good. Not too over-priced. We bought the family room, clean, good service at front desk. The staff were nice and friendly as well. We frequently go to this hotel when we visit Hamilton.

After a long drive, who wouldn't enjoy the inconvenience of trying to manoevre your car into a tiny car park spot and run the gauntlet of maze-like grubby corridors over multiple levels to find the reception and check in. After FINALLY having to find my own name on the list of guest staying and being handed a key and vague instructions of how to tunnel my way back to the room I was asked to pay $10 a night for parking my car in apparently "secure" parking. I still don't understand why - it wasn't even indoor/covered parking and parking on the street was free outside of business hours. Anyway, I was advised of this AFTER checking in.
The following morning, Room service knocked loudly on my door - sometime between 9-9.30 am (this is early for someone sleeping in and on holiday) I called out to "hold on please" as I was getting dressed - Next thing the door opens and a cleaner comes into the room as I am dressing. This is before 9.30am!!? Crazy intrusion of privacy at an early hour (I wasn't checking out until the next day). I noticed the beds were not made properly, sheets were thin and came off the bed. Pillows were thin.. you need about three to make a normal pillow thickness. The crockery and spoons that I used were not cleaned properly. I know this because on the second day I went to grab a spoon - it was the same spoon as the day before with the same marks on it I had left, it had perhaps had a light rinse at the most and been put back! The room was not vacuumed and he fridge smelled and the ice cube tray had mould in it. The bathroom was ok, clean enough but the tap leaked either onto the vanity or onto you. The view was non-existent (of a wall!!) and the place was so noisy it is impossible to relax.
Wi-fi was free though and the room was large with plenty of space.

Rooms updated but very small. Wi-fi continually dropped out and signal was poor. Bed firm and comfortable but with threadbare sheets that kept coming off the bed and cheap pillows that left me with a sore neck. The bathroom was the size of a closet with nothing in the shower to rest soap, shampoo on and the temperature ran hot and cold. Extra cost of $10 a day for parking, but ample street parking after 5pm-8am for free. I require 3 main things in a room: good bed, shower, internet, the Sudima failed on all three.

The worst hotel in whole New Zealand. Very inconvenience parking with extra cost. Very rude staff. Very old hotel with lot of noisy surroundings. Never ever come again

Comfy place to crash after a long day / night. Right in the busy section of town with a popular night scene. Not a great breakfast selection.

When i checked it, it was by a male staff and he was rather cold, when i check-out the female staff had a smile and was a bit more outspoken. The room itself was just alright, pretty much everything's provided but having no ventilation made the room a bit hot and the bed sheets made it even hotter for summer. Having the A/C helped a bit, couldn't leave the windows open due to the noises outside.

Rooms are modernized and cleanish. Very very noisy if you are close to the street., baths ok. Carparking is available for extra charge, but parks are narrow and you have to follow a maze of corridors and take two different lifts to get there. Also my door did not close properly. Told the duty manager but she didn't really seem concerned. Breakfast was expensive and not that exciting, which kind of sums up my stay.

Customer service was impolite on arrival and the corridors smelt of mildew. Rooms were relatively clean and neat apart from a small stain found on the pillow cases. There were adequate facilities i.e. small fridge and microwave. check out was no issue.
