Stoneridge is a fantastically funky design using reclaimed timber and iron, with a blend of steam punk.
I stayed in the cottage for a single night and loved both the decor and amazing views from the bed, spa and toilet hehe.
Stoneridge also offers a 5 course chefs selection degustation that we decided to partake in, and I must say it was the best meal we've ever eaten and shows the chef enjoys food as much as we do.
The breakfast however was the only low point of our stay, after a beautiful dinner a subpar breakfast was disappointing.

We had the absolute pleasure to stay at Stoneridge in August 2017. It was such a romantic retreat. The property is stunning and you can tell the years of dedication and effort that has gone into creating such a magical place. Apart from the property Wayne the owner and his team, were the perfect balance of attentive but not intrusive, there if you needed them but equally respectful of our need to escape from our busy lives. We also run a 7 day a week 365 day a year business, so know the effort that goes in behind the scenes to make your stay a once in a life-time event. Thank you Wayne and team for all your carefully thought out touches and your warm hospitality. We hope one day we maybe back to create more memories but in the interim we will sing your praises and share our "secret" you deserve much success :)

This is simply the most stunning venue for a wedding, in every direction you turn offers another breathtaking sight to behold from the beautiful outlook to the grounds & impeccable castle like interiors. Our friends wedding was simply magical.

Stoneridge is, quite simply put, an utterly unique and stunning venue for weddings and corporate events. To say that this venue is spectacular is a huge understatement. The setting amongst Central Otago’s mountains, hills, lakes and snow is unparalleled. The venue itself is purpose build and really is astonishing. The stonework, the aged timber and incredible architecture set the tone for a wedding not soon forgotten.
The wedding chapel is beautiful, although a tight fit for the 85 (or more) guests. Back at the reception venue, the team from Stoneridge are attentive, incredibly detail-oriented and leave nothing to chance, allowing all of the guests to relax and enjoy the sumptuous food and the exquisite local wines, especially the stunning Pinot Noir.
Every time I visit and work there, I notice new details in the building and it's a true highlight.response / report this review -

We had our elopement here and it was just beautiful inside and out. Also the food from the degustation menu was absolutely perfect in every way.
