Colonial Village is a really quaint set of Character Accommodations only a quick 20 minute walk from town. It has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains, and free parking. The free WiFi was a bit spotty in some areas, but seemed to work fine for the majority of the time. We really enjoyed the kitchenette facilities that allowed us to make a lot of our own meals. (The knife could definitely use a sharpener however). We enjoyed the cute style of the room, and some of the updated features in the bathroom. However, whoever designed the bathroom should be shot, as the shower area is under the sloped side of the roof. :p One final constructive criticism; given the age of the buildings and the proximity to the main roadfor weather, noise, and electricity usage, I would recommend insulating. It can easily be done without ruining the look and feel, and would definitely help keep your costs down and customers happy in the long run.
Would recommend this place as we had a nice stay; and Anna from the front desk was really friendly, helpful, fun and professional.response / report this review
