The trails looked easy on paper but it had a lot of steps to get to the falls. Not recommended if you are not moderately fit or you may want to budget more time for a leisurely stroll.
Easy track to this waterfalls. Many longer tracks are available. No dogs allowed because Kiwi bird might be there. Beautiful waterfall. I could feel the energy from this 135 m waterfall. Love it.
lots of stairs to climb up but it's a safe trail. we hiked up with our 3&5 yr old kids.
Our first hike in New Zealand and it was a stunner. Go beyond the viewing spot up the rugged rocks to get to the base. Slippery, but worth it. #zoeishere
Moderately sized waterfall surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery. Needs a few flights of stairs to get to, so be prepared for a short but challenging hike.
It is closed! I was just there a while ago. No reason stated, no reopening date stated.
Gorgeous waterfall nice viewing deck but no seats. A few steps to get up here but not excessive if you have a basic level of fitness easily best thing to see within Arthur's pass town.
Nice walk up, not to far, and lovely view of the waterfall at the end. Worth doing.
It's a quick walk, but is very scenic along the way. The waterfall is pretty.
There is quite a few steps, so requires one to be comfortable climbing stairs and relatively fit. It is definitely worth the walk to see the waterfall. A stop to consider when visiting through Arthur's Pass.
Very impressive and beautiful waterfall, it can get misty so you want to wrap up in winter. The walk there isn't too bad and there's a viewing platform with steps.
