  Nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Lovely owners. Took us in with an extremely late booking after the Tuatara lodge messed up our booking. After we ended up sleeping rough for a night as we were locked out of the Tuatara lodge, we called this hostel up and they even suggested we come over early for showers/tea etc. which was nice of them!
  
  Will definitely be staying again!

  Very friendly warm hostel. Owner is a very nice gentleman. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Free wifi.

  Outstanding hostel. Very comfortable and hospitable. My girlfriend and I spent a week here while we prepped for the Te Araroa trail heading north. On our first day of the hike we made it to Riverton and I found that I'd left my merino thermal longs at the hostel. The owner couriered them to me and I had them within the day. They bent over backwards to help me out! Take note Hosteling Canada, this is how you run a hostel.

  Clean overall - like every inch of this place is clean and feels like home. Place is economic. Close to shops. Lovely host.If i go back to Invercargill, this is where i'd be staying at.

  Great hostel with spacious rooms and comfy beds. The dorms are not exceeding 5 people and the beds are solid. You have enough room to store your luggage and the dorm / share room had even a heater. Most rooms look into garden areas which are quiet and good to use and hang out.
  
  The young lady working here was friendly and very welcoming. People are easy going and quiet here in this hostel. The kitchen and living room gives a feeling like home so it is great to stay here for a while if you are tired of traveling.
  
  Only downside of the location is the very weak, but free, unstable WiFi as well as the low flying planes (probably from Steward Island) flying over the hostel once every one or two hours during daylight.
  
  Would definitely go here again. Paid 27NZD per night in a four bed share with BBH membership.
