A little chaotic at times but a cheap and reliable place to rent or buy ski gear. Despite the chaos the wait wasn't too long to get gear and the staff were patient and helpful

The majority of the staff are helpful , courteous and professional. There is a great depth of gear to hire and prices are reasonable. This is why I have awarded 2 stars. What lets this store down and prompts me to write with a bitter taste in my mouth is the customer service approach by one senior female staff member. Both times I went to the store she was openly, loud, grumpy, dismissive and rude of customers. The first time it was to another customer and I left wondering both what the customer had done and how rude a retailer could be. The second time I was on the receiving end ( and I wasnt the only one. The whole queue of customers waiting to be served got a taste of her ascerbic tongue). I mean what sort of "professional" mimics in a nasty way the way a customer speaks TO THEM, pulls faces at the customer, scolds the customer, tells the customer they are wrong, states that their needs as a shop worker are greater than the customers (no kidding!) and SHOUTS at a line of customers. The answer is a nut-job.Then, it turned out she was wrong and I hadn't been asked earlier to sign that I would collect hire gear after a certain time. She had hoped to show me my own signature as proof of what a terrible human being I am. However,at the first visit I had been told to complete the top half of the form only and to collect items "after school". No apology, only an excuse about how hard it is to deal with people who dont actually comply. "You must understand" she insisted. Well, no lady. Show some humility, courtesy, tolerance and respect. I never want to interact with you, I pity your employees and I would NOT recommend this store to anyone.

Excellent shop for ski & snow board rentals if you're heading out to the fields for the day from Christchurch. Staff and owners were very helpful and the prices are quite reasonable.

Quite the packed place at this time of the year, but customer service was brilliant. So affordable to hire gear for the whole season.

Well stocked shop although not the best range. Has a mix of new, last season, ex rental and ex demo stock. Good place to pick up gear at a reasonable price.
