The whole experience started off at reception and that person is Joy Very helpful and happy lady followed by my dental technician who made sure I knew what procedure was happening and that it was to my liking.. Highly recommend these people In fact, I am going back next month.

I recently moved to Christchurch and was due for my dental procedures. As I had limited knowledge of good dentists around the town, a friend of my husband suggested Smile concepts to us. I had my first dental examination with Natalie and there are no words to describe how Wonderful my experience was. The staff greeted me with respect, dignity and a deep desire to provide the best possible care. I’ve already visited SC a couple of times and I’m glad I chose SC. My gratitude for Dr. Natalie and her staff goes beyond the stars!

I have to say to anyone needing a dentist this is the one for me. I am NOT a fan of dentists and recently had to visit one for a bad tooth ache. I went on line and checked to see who had good reviews. Smile concepts had great reviews and now, having been to see them, I can understand why. The service was great right from reception and the consultation was terrific, all my fears were put to rest and even the tooth extraction was a simple, painless process. I will definitely be returning for further visits to protect the teeth I have left and would highly recommend smile concepts to any other scaredy cats out there.

Natalie and her team are awesome. They totally put me at ease and even had me laughing in the chair (a rare occurrence for me in a Dentist chair!)

Who would have thought that going to the dentist could be such a positive experience! Who would have thought that you would find yourself singing along during treatment! (Not singing very well with a mouth full of interference but you get the point.) Dental surgeon Dr Natalie Majgaonkar and her team at Smile Concepts on Colombo St in Christchurch have completely transformed how I feel about ‘going to the dentist’. I had a crown replaced and the result is amazing. Natalie’s skill and Hiro’s artistry have created such a natural result. Smile Concepts is a highly professional team who also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a pleasure. Who would have thought!

I Can't rate this fabulous dental team highly enough. Our first experience was a few months ago (after a terrible experience at a community dental clinic when my 12yr old daughter unfortunately needed a filling, we of course followed the referral instructions & booked the treatment of the filling with the closest community clinic, but we ended up having a dreadful experience as they didn't wait long enough for the pain blocker to take full effect & then wouldn't stop the treatment even though she was in tears!! To make matters worse the filling then fell out 8 days later). As you can imagine I now had a petrified child who was refusing to see anyone about her tooth that now had a big hole in it!! My work colleague then suggested I try Natalie @ smile concepts as all her children had been to her & she highly recommend her for her gentle treatment especially with children. From the moment I made the call to book an appointment I knew this was the right place for us the empathy from the receptionist after I explained the disastrous previous treatment & how afraid my daughter now was was extremely reassuring. This reassurance continued when we were greeted warmly on our arrival to our appointment & continued Upon meeting & listening to Natalie talk to my daughter (like she would an adult) about what she needed to do & how she was going to do it. Natalie was essentially giving my daughter the opportunity to trust her as a dentist & that she would listen to her. So after chatting together for a few minutes about the treatment options one was suggested to try & have the filling replaced without the need for an injection (as not a lot of drilling would be involved) my daughter Amazingly chose to trust Natalie & the filling was successfully redone without any pain relief at all. What a fabulous outcome I now have a daughter who would happily visit Natalie and her team @ smile concepts :)
My husband has now also taken our 10yr old daughter yesterday to have some baby teeth removed due to over crowding. (We were of course referred to community dental clinic but no way I was taking the chance of having another disaster). So off to Natalie they went & again what amazing service, Natalie spoke directly to my daughter explaining what was going to be done & exactly how the teeth would be removed. My daughter was so surprised to discover that she never felt a thing due to the use of numbing cream prior to the pain blocking injection & then the removal method of somehow massaging the teeth out which has of course ended in another extremely happy child who will look forward to revisiting :)
