Terrible service. Chose it as it was the only place open to eat lunch after 14:30. Waitress forgot to place our mains order with the kitchen. Strange as we put our full order in at once and we got our starters but had to ask for mains after nearly half an hour after starters. There were only 4 covers besides ourselves in the restaurant! We, three guests, had ordered 2 starters, 3 drinks and 2 main courses. Staff gave us our 2 starters and drinks for free as an apology. Food portions were small for the price and the staff weren't particularly friendly. Overall a bad experience 😴😴😴😴😴

Excellent food in Whitianga. We had the best lamb shoulder slowed roasted to a juicy tenderness. Highly recommending this restaurant.

Generally terrible. Slow, inattentive staff on a quiet night. Food was ok, but not worth the exceptional wait between courses. Generally dismissive of feedback during and after meal. Won't return. Do not recommend.

Great location, service adequate but food really average. The starters were ok but the Hapuka main was overcooked and tasteless. The dessert was embarrassing and we left it. We would not recommend this place

Didn't quite live up to expectations. Service was excellent but let down by the food. Crispy onions were soggy and chewy. The chocolate soil was missing and the fondant was more like a mousse.

Food is average and over priced. The service is extremely poor. The location is great. However, this place gives me the impression that they survive because of low competition in the area therefore they can afford to put up lacklustre food with really unfriendly service.

The best service I have ever had. Yes it is expensive but the waitress we had was fantastic. She took our entree order separate to our mains. She only cleared the plates when we were all finished. And she was always wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. If I could give more stars I would.
