Remax Initial Realty manage our rental property and our always prompt to respond, happy to answer questions and we have never had any issues. Would definitely recommend to other landlords.

Shocking property management. Doesn't deserve 1 star but no option. Dishonest, incompetent and lazy. Liars, and bad ones at that. Despite their incompetence they did manage to take my money very efficiently. They have a smug and arrogant attitude, and don't seem to understand that it is my home, and that they were working for me.

They breached the property management agreement. Did not attend to urgent repairs allowing my house to flood with water through the kitchen ceiling and conservatory roof: twice. They told me repairs had been done, waiting until the contract ended and then let me move back into my home to discover that they hadn't.

The garage was allowed to leak for over a year. There were unauthorised alterations, and substandard repairs to my property. A Rimu door was missing and had been replaced by a piece of rubbish. The property management 'hadn't noticed' this. There were missing chattels and damage to my property by tenants. They were smokers who threw live cigarettes onto the clear light, burning holes in it. Property management knew they smoked inside the house.

No background checks or credit checks were done on these people. General poor property management and not looking after my property. False and misleading inspection reports, if inspections were done at all. Just appalling.

I came home from overseas to a complete nightmare, after being told that everything was wonderful. Never trust the keys to your house, or your money, to these slippery people. Bring on a change in the law so that we can hold these kind of people accountable.

Finally: who knew, the glowing reviews below are by the staff of -you guessed it- Re/Max Initial realty. These people have no shame whatsoever.

RE/MAX Initial Realty have been wonderful with my rental properties. They are professional, and efficient. They treat all homes as if they were their own. RE/MAX are through in their inspections, and always follow up payments with statements which are easy to follow.

I have recommended to a friend who now uses RE/MAX for her rental property also.

Great service from Murray and the team. Selling, renting or buying. A no pressure enjoyable experience with fantastic results. Nothing beats experience when dealing with property.
