Dropped in here while driving around the island. Lovely people, nice atmosphere and good honest food. Cable Bay could learn a lot by coming to look at this place. Did I mention how bad Cable Bay was? Sorry, back to Passage Rock. Great place. Nice wine too.

Had a fantastic lunch here under the canvas top. Awesome Camembert baked cheese and a lovely bottle of rose. Great service and atmosphere. The drive there is a top nz road - in lots of twists and turns.

The wine is amazing. The wine maker gives us a lot of information about the wine and grapes. For as little as $2, you could taste other amazing wine.

Had lunch here today, the Maitr'd and our waiter were excellent and we enjoyed our food and wine. We were keen to experience and buy some more of their wine but was put off by the lady who was behind the wine tasting counter, rude and disinterested, I wouldn't have minded paying for the tasting but the way she spoke to us and looked down at us was unacceptable. Unfortunately she marred what otherwise was a great experience and thus missed out on further sales.

Loved this place, want here for too long as the kids were sleeping in the car (mum was with them). But I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting and the grounds look beautiful. Worth the trip out to this winery.
