Lovely part of the country. Recommend checking out Punakiki cavern (torches required), Truman's Track & Fox River in addition to the pancake rocks.

A touristic sight. It is amazing how water and the nature have created the pancake rocks. A short walk but Nice's sights. 100% recommended walk into the bush beside Pororari river. Great adventure.

Definitely a sight for tourists! In touring the south island, it was great to see the pancake rocks! We even enjoyed a pancake stack across the road later. Excellent marketing..

Absolutely stunning on a sunny or rainy day. Be sure to walk up the Pororari river.

The pancake rocks, waterfall and blowholes are all free to access and wheelchair friendly! The information centre across the pancake rocks offers free WiFi. A must do when around!

Really stunning place to walk around. Take a camera and try to go when the tide of coming in as then the blow holes start to be very impressive.
