Jenny and Murray were fantastic hosts at this centrally located motel. The generous rooms were well fitted out, with a stove top and dishdrawer, as well as the usual microwave and fridge. The heated towel rail in the clean and shiny bathroom was a welcome addition. The best feature was the uber-comfy bed - bliss!

An absolutely fantastic place to stay in nelson, great service. Well thought out rooms down to the 4 outlets on each side of the bed for all ur charging needs, lamps etc. To the full sky and fantastic Wi-Fi. (Were able to stream Netflix at anytime with no issues)

I had to travel to Nelson for work on a fortnightly basis and when I did I was there for a week, I only stayed at the Palazzo Motor Lodge. Over this period I got to know Kiara and Bob the owners really well, they are always very welcoming and I liked that they ensured I had the same room on each trip, it felt like my home away from home, the rooms are beautiful, clean and well serviced and I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

I stayed in the Presidential accommodation and was so pleased with the roomy bed, the nice art and decor and the cleanliness. Kiara and Bob are welcoming hosts with much local knowledge and they made our short stay extra special. I have since recommended Palazzo to friends for business accommodation reasons and the proximity to the Conference Centre is the best in the area by a long margin. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nelson.

Gorgeous motel, with fabulous hosts! Clean, tasteful, friendly, atmospheric and situated a short (3 minutes) walk from the town centre, markets etc., Palazzo is the perfect place to stay in Nelson. Hosts Kiara and Bob are happy to assist in every way, whether it be with local tourism advice or helping to plan your trip to nearby must-sees like the Abel Tasman. Will definitely be back again soon! 10/10!!!
