Oh my god this place is INCREDIBLE! We called to make a booking and they were full, but we left a message and asked them to call us back if there was any way they could fit us in. We got a call back the next morning and they arranged for us to eat later that night. Amazing customer service!
The food was so good! 5 courses for $50 NZD, and BY FAR the best food I'd had in NZ, possibly the world. Each bite was amazing.
The service was also top-notch. Water refilled, people checking in to make sure it was good, good timing of courses.
Everything was amazing. I'm so glad I got to go while I was in NZ.response / report this review -

Fabulous all around. One of the best dining experiences I've had in NZ or otherwise. I called on Friday asking for a reservation for the following night (I pulled the birthday card), which Natalie and her team were gracious enough to grant to me and my two friends despite being fully booked. The food was delicious, not too complicated but still interesting. The service was wonderful, our waitress even brought my friend a second glass of water after she said she wasn't having wine because we had biked 43km on a winery tour all day. Thanks Pacifica!

Wow.This deserves all the accolades a simply amazing meal, beautifully presented; well informed staff, interesting wine matches and all for $100 pp. Just go and visit this gem in Hawkes Bay

An amazing, stellar experience that I would recommend to anyone, thank you team Pacifica. Natalie called to offer us an earlier seating as we advised when booking initially, that we'd prefer to come in earlier in the evening if possible, so that was hugely appreciated. Then for approx 2hrs15min we were taken on a journey through 5 completely different yet complementary dishes all with different tastes and textures. Very well deserving of their new title, NZ's restaurant of the year.

Amazing 5 course degustation menu, focusing on bringing Maori tradition to modern cuisine. Very very good value! Anywhere else you'd be paying much more for this. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, especially if you love kaimoana (sea food).

Amazing food!! Really fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great and decore stunning! So highly recommended! Please beware they do a five course degustation menu but it is phenomenal!!!
