Great lil shop. Was small and busy but friendly. Helpful staff. Went for biltong was best we have seen so far. Will be back.

Still known as the "South African store", On Trays offers a wide variety of foodstuffs from around the world, as well as the best cheese you can find, biltong, coffee, wines, and exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly staff. Steve & Valda and their team are fantastic.

Very friendly place offering free coffee to anyone coming in. Good range of products and for cheeses and meats knowledgeable staff to help you select, with tastings compulsory before you choose.

Supremely helpful friendly kind staff & owners - who indulge you with an excellent coffee or tea while you sample the deli foods to accompany your purchase decision - covers the world with its supplies to keep most palettes happy! Easy parking too or a hop skip & jump from Petone train station or airport flyer bus for Washingtonians to explore wonderful Petone on a Saturday (or weekdays)

Great food from around the world. You get to taste the biltong and droë wors. The people are friendly and helpful and you can even get a free cup of coffee or tea while you shop.

Great shop, full of interesting stuff. The deli is the highlight with an astonishing selection of cheeses (plenty in the cooler not on display, speak to the staff about what you want and they will sort you out). Lots of cured meat choices also. You get to try everything before you buy and wash it down with your complimentary fresh coffee.

Speciality meats and cheeses. Huge array of European goods including wines. Staff are super friendly and helpful, great service, someone always asking if you are being looked after. Can be expensive but the quality, range of products and service is worth it. Fair bit of parking but it can get really busy
