Our move started in Brisbane in the middle of the pandemic, a lack of containers and container ships. We also had the issue of trying to get a position in MIQ to move our self’s to NZ.
As it turned out our belongings arrived into the hands of New Zealand Mover long before we could there, that is when our stress levels reached an all time high.
We need not have worried as Summer Croucher and her team handled everything even things they weren’t responsible for.
Getting access to our new home delivering all our possessions, checking everything was there, had our cars inspected then delivered to the house and locked up in the garage, even organise to have some transport damage (which occurred prior to them receiving the cars) repaired. Summer made us feel confident and assured that it was all under control, we cannot speak highly enough. We are very grateful to have used New Zealand Movers and to know Summer.

Moving from Christchurch to Melbourne, I searched for international shipping providers. I was recommended to try another company but I wanted to shop around first. I asked several different companies for quotes and New Zealand Movers replied first within 24 hours and offered the cheapest quote. They initially couldn't pick up my items on the date requested and only had availability to pick up after I was due to leave the country. They shuffled things around and made it work and I am eternally grateful for that (big thank you to Joanne C in customer services - she has been excellent from start to end). The Chch packers were quick and professional, I was walked through everything I needed to do on my end, and received regular updates on arrival times etc. Would definitely recommend NZ Movers to anyone moving internationally.

Very thorough team who are happy to help work through what you need to get moved. We moved between islands and this added an extra cost of marine insurance (ferry) which you can only get through an independent broker or the moving company itself. Your home contents insurance doesn't cover inter island l moves. Nzmovers had reasonable rates and they had delivered a discount voucher to my letterbox shortly after my house sold which was the reason I called them for a quote.
They also picked up all the boxes and packing material a few weeks after our move.

WOW! Quick to quote, Garry and Sharon are just super lovely. The guys who came and packed everything up, done and dusted in no time. The team has made relocating from Christchurch to Whangarei, just a breeze, extremely helpful, friendly and didn't mind me asking a million and one questions. Can highly recommend New Zealand Movers, can't wait until the final part of the move is completed. Can't thank the Christchurch team enough! This move was stressful enough (and with a short time frame), and New Zealand Movers, just made it a breeze, and the check list of things to do is really helpful. High five!

Form the first the communication was great. Andy and the team were excellent, professional and efficient. They came in and got on with the job, with no fuss and bother. They moved us to the new location and reassembled the desks in record time. The move was completed ahead of time and was completely painless. I would highly recommend the team and the company.

I have had the pleasure of using the services of New Zealand Movers 4 times over the last 3 years. We have used them for storage, then moving into our new home in CHCH, packing us up and moving us to Brisbane and finally moving us back to CHCH. I found the team to be very knowledgeable, always available for answering my many questions and always communicating back to me in real time. NZ Movers looked after our move from Australia to Nelson. It was a reasonably large move done in two shipments and involving two cars. At all times, NZ Movers kept us updated on where our goods were, how they were going through customs, projected dates of arrival. They were also very helpful with the logistics of getting our Australian cars through the process and onto the road. Special mention goes to Summer Croucher who is an expert in her field as well as being friendly and pleasant to deal with. We did have one hitch along the way but Summer smoothed it out quickly and efficiently. We recommend NZ Movers.
