Chocolates were 30c cheaper than town so I got 3 and today we needed mixed veges so I got 3 pkts. Very handy with club card.

Friendly service, close to the local community centre, car park every where, Totara Medical centre, Work and Income, petrol stations, churches, Age carers centres, schools and so much more.

New world Flaxmere is a staple to everyone that lives in Flaxmere. It's necessary, but forever has had bottle necks that prevent it from being a great supermarket.
The store is small. In the village space is at a premium, and New World has never had room to grow.
The space it does have though it utilizes well. Albeit with a bit of a cluttered feel (unavoidable given the premesis).
Staff are friendly, but are generally flat out at the registers.
They have a couple of high points, those being good specials, and great tasting ready to eat cooked food from the deli.
All in all Flaxmere New World is oh so handy when you need to pop to a supermarket out these ways, but for a weekly shop, the ten minute drive to Pak n Save or Countdown in Hastings may be preferable.response / report this review -
