I enjoyed the course in Social Media Marketing Strategy (Micro-credential); flexible delivery, online study, detailed information and practical approach. Special thanks to our tutor Steve Punter; he is an experienced expert with great communication skills! I'd love to complete the Diploma course once it's available online for full-time working folks.

I studied the Digital Marketing Diploma remotely through NZIE from the start of 2021 and graduated in Feb this year.
I didn’t know a lot about Digital Marketing when I first started, only that certain aspects surrounding content creation and social media interested me.
From my first conversation with the recruitment advisor Phil, right through to the end of my diploma (and beyond), the staff at NZIE have been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive.
I learned a huge range of interesting and valuable new skills, and I went from feeling like I had no options left post-COVID, to suddenly feeling like I had a huge range of opportunities and paths ahead of me – I just had to pick one!
I did have minor issues with some of the course content doubling up in places, but the doubling up DID help reinforce some information (of which there is a LOT), and I believe the feedback on that has resulted in some changes already.
Other than that, I have only high praise for NZIE.
I highly recommend taking the plunge if anyone is considering a career in any facet of Digital Marketing.

I am a graduate having completed the Diploma in Digital Marketing as of May 2022.
Coming from a designer background, with no experience in marketing or business, I found that this course provided a good foundation across all aspects of digital marketing. As I was looking to get into a designer role in the marketing industry, the broad skill set and knowledge I learnt throughout this course helped me to up skill and stand out during the job process. About a month and a half after I finished my studies and started job hunting, I managed to find a full time job as a Graphic and Web Designer.
The "Pros":
-Highly knowledgeable tutors that are easy to get along with.
-Decent exposure to industry tools and software
-Broad coverage of all areas of marketing
The "Cons":
-Some content overlapped between the different papers (though I believe they have made changes since I finished)
-Some content was outdated, such as some of the video and software tutorials (as things in this industry move quite fast, content should be refreshed more often)
Other things to note:
-It is an academic institution first and foremost, so grades and performance on assignments and assessments are important.
-The workload can be heavy at times and I would suggest part-time study if you are working full time.
-If you come from a marketing background you will probably be familiar with a lot of the content from your experience in the industry, as this course I would say is tailored more to people who are brand new to marketing.
-If you are more interested in learning some industry software/programs/platforms/applications and/or just want to up skill in a particular area, and are not interested in the academic side, there are probably small 5 to 10 week courses that I would recommend that you take instead of doing this diploma.
Overall I would say my experience was positive and if you are like me and looking to up-skill and/or make a change to your career and move towards marketing, then I think that this course will provide you with a good base skill set and understanding that is widely applicable across many roles and industries.

Excellent education provider.i have met delegate at Banglore Miss sherin , she provided me all the information what i required for my higher studies in newzealand. She tooked time to explain me my required course and would really wish to join for the course. Thankyou Sherin mam for the support.

I have book private spa pool at Xpm. And I come from AKL, but they told me all fully booking !! , I have to drive back. I am pretty sure that I have booking already through calling. Bad service, no sorry no response from their assistants. Never again.
