We love staying at the Mount Taylor Lodge. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and friendly. The commons area is a great beautiful space to relax and enjoy. Breakfast is delicious and the coffee perfect! Feels like a home away from home. Nick is very accommodating and offers superb customer service and can help you sort out other details that will complete your trip. Highly recommend staying here, it is a lovely experience!
From the reviews I had read I knew it was going to be a good pick, but until I arrived, I didn't realise how good. Nick the owner is so accommodating and great to have a chat to during breaky or after a day on the slopes. Breaky which is included and by all reports is a continental style, actually includes bacon & eggs cooked by Nick. His coffee is also amazing!
The rooms are a great size, especially the room I was lucky enough to have overlooking the snow capped mountains. Comfy bed, central heating and strong hot shower.
There is a large kitchen with everything you need should you want to cook otherwise the restaurants and pubs in town are a 2 min walk away.
There is also a nice lounge and dining room with fireplace where the guests can sit and chat at the end of the day.
It felt like home which was nice as i was a solo female travelling to learn to ski for the first time. I will definitely stay again should I be in the area. Keep up the good work Nick
