Not too long a wait for an assistant. Very pleasant and helpful. Explained everything and followed through promptly with actions. Problem sorted inside 20 minutes. He also took the opportunity to check that I understood my new connection fully.

Absolutely disappointed.
Their system crashes every now and then,
By calling customer service does NOT help at all. Staff can NOT solve problems properly.

Useless. Their manager has gone on leave for 2 weeks and there is no one left to deal with my issue. I keep getting excuses and excuses.

Absolutely scam!
had the most frustrating experience in my life with their slow ass internet,
WORST thing that they would place additional charges on your bill without notifying!!
they started as an ok company but seriously ended up providing bs services like this

Terrible terrible service! Avoid this company!
Nothing but hassle from day 1. I wasn't told my account had been activated until I had an overdue payment so lost the "discount" for early payments. Customer service is terrible.
Seems like a scam out to empty your pockets!

Internet service is great, Customer service is poor to average. 43mins waited on hold on "English" line whilst calling from both my Mobile and a Landline. Called the "Korean" line and got through instantly!! Told to come in and collect free Router (After being told that my existing would work but didn't) and was told on the text message that it was ready for pick upBut then had to wait almost 20min. They are very polite have great deals and give really good results eventually however their response times seem to depend on what language you understand? Good if you're a very very patient person.

excellent service! the customer service team were super helpful, guys came to install the fibre onto our socket were also professional and efficient, best experience ever deal with an internet provider! not to mention our fibre is stable and fast atm!

Excellent personalised customer service. We had an issue with our modem disconnecting all the time and it turned out to be corrosion at the external junction. MegaTEL arranged for a Chorus technician to fix the problem very promptly. Prior to that, they gave us a free new line filter to help diagnose the source of the problem and talked us through everything very thoroughly. They are always extremely helpful and polite and go the extra mile to solve any issues that might arise.

I have been a customer of Megatel for over 7 years and have never had a bad experience with their services. The pricing is good and I am happy with the quality of service.
Internet speeds are amazing. Couldn’t be happier. Most recommended ISP Company I would say in NZ.response / report this review
