The best historical museum I've seen! The displays were done very well and professionally and whomever worked to get so many donations from the city's past was very successful. Everything meshed and told the story of the gold town days.

Fantastic place, definitely worth the $10 entry fee with two whole floors of treasures and life sized displays to investigate. Such rich history and a fascinating collection which really provides great insight into the lives of people at the time.

Was there during the Autumn Festival & the place was packed. Museum is much larger than it looks from the outside so give yourself plenty of time to look around.

A lot of displays. They rebuilt several rooms from the gold mining era, among them a school, a bakery, a carpenter's shop, a printimg office and some more. A great bargain for only $10 entry fee. Also great for kids as there are a lot of displays you can touch and interact with.

The museum is bigger than it look. Part of it is the old bank and its stable was preserved inside the museum. Lots of historical items. Well worth the $10 entry fee. Don't miss the historic toilet. Note: Some figures may frighten young children.
