Receptionist was friendly and remembered my name the 2nd time, impressive! Most of all the doctor was bang on time, thats hard to find anywhere in nz let alone Wanaka. My doctor was super nice/professional and made me feel super comfortable with a not so comfortable procedure. They made transferring my history a breeze, took less than a week. Best decision to go to see these guys, very highly recommemded.

First of all, the nurses give a really great and understanding service. Good option to go to the sexual health clinic if you only need a renewal on a contraceptive prescription and you are under 25, way more affordable than GP (40NZD for oversea's patient without culture). That service get 5 stars on its own.
However, I remove 3 stars because of the poor service from the reception. I went there twice, and didn't feel welcomed or comfortable each time I conversed with the receptionist. The second time I called ahead to know if it was possible to get an early prescription renewal on contraceptive pills, to that I was answered to call the pharmacy. After going to the pharmacy this week and being told to call the med center for this question, I thought someone might have misunderstood my question and presented myself at the reception. The receptionist remembered my called and seemed annoyed by my presence. She simply sent me to the nurse who told me it wasn't possible to renew my prescription just yet.
Therefore I wasted around an hour for a question that could have been answered on the phone.. It seems like basic knowledge for a MEDICAL receptionist to know whether a prescription can be or not renewed ahead of time. And if she did not understand my question, it is quite a basic communication skill to say so.

Really poor service, doctor's lack of judgment allowed seriously bad infection to continue for an appropriate amount of time.

Non- friendly receptionist- Doctor ignored me as my partner was being attended to (like i didn't exist). Also overcharged $ (receptionist mis judged our age).
