Despite the "Hiccups", without a doubt it was an absolute pleasure staying at the Resort for the first time.
We definitely will be back and have no qualms in promoting Kennedy Park Resort to our family and friends.
The whole facility, accommodation, setting, variety of onsite entertainment, immaculate grounds, gardens and trees etc.just beautiful and picturesque.
Finally, the office staff. Professional, friendly, helpful and always greeting you with a happy smile. Fantastic and well done, long may it continue.

We had a break away from Wellington over labour weekend and my friend had told me it's a fantastic camping area. It was quiet so we really enjoyed it. The kids loved the playground couldn't get them away! It's central to everything and the swimming pool was just awesome definitely go back again.

For $237 for two nights for 5 people for a powered site you would expect 5 star service. Let’s face it - it’s not.
The site is clean but the toilet facilities are badly in need of an upgrade. The ground staff don’t acknowledge guests, let alone smile at them. The reception staff were initially welcoming but when coming back to to ask questions or hire DVDs or bikes I found them decidedly frosty. I wanted a number for a local taxi company, when I asked the lady at reception she said rudely “Have you got a map or what?”. For the money I’d expect much better customer service.
To be honest the staff all seem really pissed off to work there.
The games room had the two main games out of order and contains video games that should be in a museum.
Swimming pool is clean and heated but nowhere for parents to sit poolside.
To be honest we were happy to leave. We only chose the park for its closeness to central Napier. We won’t be returning.response / report this review -

Having the opportunity to choose between such a variety of accommodation was brilliant. The facilities and cleanliness of them are to be applauded!!! The Villa was spacious and beautifully presented. Having such a great playground and swimming facility meant non-stop entertainment for our children in an incredibly safe environment.

It's a beautiful place , makes you forget how close the city is. Been upgraded beautifully since I last was there. The pool was the best part, as it wasn't the warmest weather when we stayed we were still able to enjoy the heated pool. I will definitely be suggesting this resort to everyone I know and hopefully planning my next trip shortly!

Kennedy Park Resort is a fantastic family destination. Our kids are always so happy here, which means so are we! The facilities are very well maintained, nothing is too much trouble and the grounds are fantastic. We will continue our regular visits to you for sure :)

As a Mum taking the kids away for a four night break, it was a great destination. The kids were happy out biking, swimming and scootering, and the cabin was perfect for us. The heated pool in winter is a godsend, and burnt a lot of energy on cold, wet days. Great to have movie hire at reception too. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay, thank you!

I will never look into spending our money in Napier at any other hotel, motel, lodge or any other over night stay. I love what Kennedy park has to offer!! Its a amazing vibrant kid friendly kind loving environment!! Amazing place!! Will be back always, even if its just for a break!

Honestly we didn't stay long enough to make a detailed review, but the small things that I did notice were
1.. lovely welcome from front desk with easy directions to room..
2warm, tidy&very clean room (thumbs up cleaners, great job)
3..friendly pool man who didn't get upset with my children sneeking in for a early morning dip
4..car wash facility's, well done!
5.appreciated the text after we left saying thanks for staying..that was really nice

Not the best place we have stayed. We stayed for 2 nights in the units. We had no hand soap, No face cloths, dirty floors, holes in the towels & the heated pool didn't look clean had a green tinge to the colour while the other 2 pools had the blue color. We ended up with no hot water for showers. And never got offered a small discount. Not worth the 4 stars. Never staying there again I can pay the same and get much better

My family and I loved this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I truly felt like I could relax knowing the kids had more than enough to entertain and keep them busy. This place has alot to offer.

Overall it was very pleasant and great for children as my daughter spent a lot of time on the bouncing cushion and loved it. Our room was a great size for 3 adults and 1 child. Our only problem was we only had 2 flannels in the room for 4 people and the shampoo/conditioner was empty which was frustrating after spending day in splash planet with chlorine but after speaking to reception this was quickly rectified. Would love to book again but unfortunately on website its booked fully until end of year??? not sure if this is an error or not though.

Had an absolutely awesome time at Kennedy Park! We only stayed for one night this time round but had a blast! The kids were up late bouncing on the air-pillow and playing on the playground! The only gripe from them was that we were not there long enough to go in the pool! Happily accommodated our request to check in early despite the fact someone had been in our room the previous night! Will definitely be back for longer next time to make the most of the pool ;)

We're a family of 2 adults and 3 children (1-9 yrs) and stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment/motel unit. We loved all of the kid-friendly facilities, especially the heated swimming pool, adventure playground and the jumping pillow. Our room was clean and tidy. We can't wait to return and will be recommending Kennedy Park to all of our friends and family. Thanks for the great stay!
